Leg 4: 2:40 Haydock

There was no winner of last Saturday’s Scoop6. This is great news for you as the Win fund starts at £38,503 and the bonus fund at ££271,818! Both these totals will grow rapidly as more stakes are placed.
This week’s Scoop6 pool is expected to swell to £375,000. Tote predict there will be around £85,000 in the win fund and £290,000 in the bonus fund.
The pool opens in the 1.50pm at Ascot, where Oliver Sherwood’s mare Papagana bids to build on a fine effort in Grade 1 company at the track last time out. At 2.25pm, we’ll get to see if the highly touted French recruit Pic D’Orhy can stage his coming out party for Paul Nicholls. This five-year-old is on a lofty enough BHA rating based on what he’s actually achieved on the track thus far, but he carries a good reputation and we’ll find out where we are with him in this race.
Tote spokesman Kevin O’Malley said: “We have some competitive handicaps in the mix on Saturday, but with the biggest field only housing eleven horses, there are no real banana skin races. We’d expect punters to have a good go at this win fund, anyone managing to negotiate the six leg pool unscathed would set up an exciting tilt at a hefty Bonus fund on Cheltenham Trials Day.”
All of the races will be shown live on ITV4.
Good luck everyone. Remember to return to Scoop6.co.uk on Saturday for live updates as the Scoop6 runs.

One of those winners was from a £2 stake!
Tote spokesman Kevin O’Malley said “What a fantastic opportunity this £2 stakes punter has to win a huge amount of money on Saturday. The Classic Chase is a tough race but with just the fourteen going to post, both bonus hunters can feel quietly confident.”
O’Malley added: “It is worth noting that no favourite has won this race in the last ten years and the top three in the market also have a poor record of hitting the frame.”

The Grade 1 Unibet Tolworth Hurdle at 2.25pm is Leg 2 of the pool and appears to revolve around three main horses among the seven runners. Tote Spokesman Kevin O’Malley said: “Colin Tizzard has won two of the last three renewals of the race, so Fiddlerontheroof is sure to be a popular Scoop6 pick in the feature race at Sandown.”
The Unibet Veterans’ Handicap Chase at 3.00pm at Sandown is going to be a real spectacle with fourteen experienced chasers – none younger than 11 years – slugging it out over three miles. Down in Wincanton, Legs 1, 3 and 5 will take place at 2.05pm, 2.40pm and 3.15pm.
O’Malley added: “Two of the Wincanton legs have just five and seven runners, along with a seven runner Tolworth Hurdle. With double figure fields in just three of the six legs, punters can feel a bit more confident than your average Saturday in having a go at the Scoop6 to small stakes.”
All of the races will be shown live on ITV4.
