Scoop6 Races for February 22nd 2020

Tote have just released the Scoop6 races for this Saturday, 22nd February. They are: –

Leg 1 - 1:50 Kempton
Leg 2 - 2:05 Lingfield
Leg 3 - 2:25 Kempton
Leg 4 - 2:45 Newcastle
Leg 5 - 3:02 Kempton
Leg 6 - 3:35 Kempton
(Please mention scoop6.co.uk if re-posting these details)

There was no winner of last Saturday’s Scoop6. This is great news for you as the Win fund starts at £174,907 and the bonus fund at £372,351! Both these totals will grow rapidly as more stakes are placed.

This week’s Scoop6 pool is expected to swell to £650,000! Tote predict there will be around £250,000 in the win fund and £400,000 in the bonus fund.

With the weather finally relenting this week, Kempton Park and Newcastle are all set to host the feature jumping action. Leg 1 of the pool is at 1:50pm, where Solo and Fujimoto Flyer go head to head in the Adonis Juvenile Hurdle. A pair of very interesting French recruits, it will be interesting to see how they perform here with the Triumph Hurdle now firmly in-view.

The Eider Chase up in Newcastle at 2:45pm (Leg 4) will be a gruelling affair over the extended four mile trip. Evan Williams is enjoying a fine season, perhaps his assured stayer Prime Venture can go well despite the burden of top weight.

If you are lucky enough to get through to the final leg at 3:35pm back down in Kempton Park, a challenging 14-runner handicap chase over three miles awaits. Alan King’s Grand National hope Talkischeap must enter considerations, while Henry Daly’s Whatmore looks dangerously weighted off 10st 5lb.

This week Tote have also launched their brand new website so you can place your Scoop6, and all your other Tote bets, directly with them.

An estimated pool of £650,000 is very exciting and we think the six chosen legs on Saturday represent an achievable puzzle for punters to solve. Any players lucky enough to scoop the win fund will qualify for a tilt at an enormous £400,000 Bonus fund next weekend.”

All six races that make up the Scoop6 will be shown live on ITV4 on Saturday.

Good luck everyone. Remember to return to Scoop6.co.uk on Saturday for live updates as the Scoop6 runs.

The Tote is Back!

Today, the UK Tote Group have announced the launch of the Tote’s new website which provides customers with a new dedicated digital pool betting experience for horseracing.

The new site is available on desktop and mobile and seeks to provide customers with a greatly enhanced experience when placing single and multileg bets with the Tote.

The website will continue to undergo development and improvements with extra features being added. Any new customers signing up will receive a £10 risk free bet.

Alongside this development comes a seismic change in the pool betting offering which means customers can be assured they will be better off betting with the Tote.

The new ‘Tote Guarantee’ ensures the Tote will always match the industry Starting Price (SP) or pay the pool price if the latter is bigger than the SP on all Win bets placed on the Tote website.

Tote Guarantee has also been trialled on racecourses throughout February. This will continue at the following upcoming meetings:

  • Wednesday 19th February: Doncaster
  • Friday 21st February: Wolverhampton
  • Saturday 22nd February: Newcastle
  • Monday 24th February: Wolverhampton
  • Wednesday 26th February: Wincanton
  • Friday 28th February: Doncaster, Newbury and Newcastle
  • Saturday 29th February: Doncaster, Newbury and Kelso

In 2019 the Tote Win beat SP on the winner of 2,887 races in the UK and on winning horses priced over 12/1 the Tote Win paid more than the SP 66% of the time. In the 2019 Randox Health Grand National the Tote offered a bigger price on 39 of the 40 runners, including two-time winner Tiger Roll.

The new website and launch of Tote Guarantee come three months after the UK Tote Group completed its acquisition of the Tote in October 2019 and follows on from the successful return of Tote Ten to Follow in a new digital format.

This is the start of an exciting new era for the Tote and racing fans can expect numerous further developments from the Tote in the coming months. These include bigger placepot pools which will open earlier for feature meetings, including for the upcoming 2020 Cheltenham Festival; a far more data rich betting experience with a new Tote Blog and greater access to live betting information in new graphical format and the development of a new Tote App to be launched in the summer.

Mark Kemp, UK Tote Group Managing Director, said: “Racing fans and customers are at the heart of everything we are doing at the Tote. We have listened to feedback through our Tote Town Halls and want to ensure betting with the Tote is an exciting, fun and safe experience for all which offers the best possible value. Central to this is the launch of the new website and Tote Guarantee which are major innovations for the pool betting experience.

“The Tote offers unique multileg bets, including the placepot and jackpot, and we are focused on providing greater transparency about the size of the pools and related data to help customers make informed betting choices. This is just the start of the new era for the Tote. We have numerous new developments to roll out in the coming weeks and months during what promises to be a really exciting time for the Tote.”

There was no winner of last Saturday’s Scoop6. This is great news for you as the Win fund starts at £33,076 and the bonus fund at £321,697! Both these totals will grow rapidly as more stakes are placed.

This week’s Scoop6 pool is expected to swell to £400,000. Tote predict there will be around £65,000 in the win fund and £335,000 in the bonus fund.

Tote spokesman Kevin O’Malley said: “This week’s Scoop6 pool is our biggest for some time and for all the final leg at 3:35pm is a bit of a lottery, the rest of the pool is gettable and punters can feel empowered having a crack – especially if banking on Altior in the Game Spirit.”

The Grade 2 Kingmaker Novices Chase is the contest of the day up in Warwick at 2:05pm (Leg 2). Nube Negra is an exciting speedster and sets the standard, but there are dangers aplenty with Rouge Vif, Precious Cargo and a couple of notable others in opposition.

The Betfair Hurdle at 3:35pm is the usual classy puzzle. If there is an interesting dark horse in the race, it has to be the Mullins raider, Ciel De Neige. This chap was unlucky not to score at Limerick last time out and possesses an intriguing profile for the feature event.

All six races that make up the Scoop6 will be shown live on ITV4.

Good luck everyone. Remember to return to Scoop6.co.uk on Saturday for live updates as the Scoop6 runs.

Good luck everyone. Remember to return to Scoop6.co.uk on Friday and Saturday for live updates as the Scoop6 runs.

Leg 3: 2:45 Wetherby
Leg 4: 3:00 Sandown Park BONUS RACE
Leg 5: 3:15 Musselburgh
Leg 6: 3:35 Sandown Park
(Please mention scoop6.co.uk if re-posting these details)

There was one winner of last Saturday’s Scoop6, winning £57,159! They will aim to take home the £312,077 bonus fund and need to find the winner of the 3:00 at Sandown Park.

Tote spokesman Kevin O’Malley said: “Once again we wish good luck to our Bonus seeker in the 3:00 at Sandown. A competitive 17-runner affair, it will be no mean feat to pick the winner, but this Bonus has been rolling for a while now and it will be great to see it won.”

Of course, all eyes will be on Leopardstown this weekend for the Dublin Racing Festival. On Sunday, the Tote Jackpot meeting takes place at Leopardstown. Leg 6 of that particular pool will be the Irish Gold Cup at 3:30, where Kemboy, Delta Work and Presenting Percy lock horns in a mouth-watering clash. If there is to be a fly in the ointment in that contest, perhaps Chris’s Dream could poke his head above the parapet and express his claims to a Cheltenham Gold Cup bid in March.

All of the races of Saturday’s Scoop6 will be shown live on ITV4.

Good luck everyone. Remember to return to Scoop6.co.uk on Saturday for live updates as the Scoop6 runs.

Friday Scoop6 Races for January 31st 2020

(Please mention scoop6.co.uk if re-posting these details)

There was no winner of last Friday’s Scoop6. That means the Win fund starts with a £16,915 rollover this week and the bonus fund starts at £832. These totals will grow as more stakes are placed.

Good luck everyone. Remember to return to Scoop6.co.uk on Friday and Saturday for live updates as the Scoop6 runs.

Scoop6 Races for January 25th 2020

Tote have just released the Scoop6 races for this Saturday, 25th January. They are: –

Leg 1: 1:50 Cheltenham
Leg 2: 2:05 Docaster
Leg 3: 2:25 Cheltenham

(Please mention scoop6.co.uk if re-posting these details)

There was one winner of last Saturday’s Scoop6, winning £108,237! They will aim to take home the £296,723 bonus fund and need to find the winner of the 3:15 at Doncaster.

Tote spokesman Kevin O’Malley said: “It will be no easy task to unearth the winner of the Sky Bet Chase, as you couldn’t entirely rule out any of the 14 runners.” O’Malley added: “We’d like to wish our Scoop6 winner the very best of luck with their selection. Let’s hope they can scoop this £300,000 Bonus in Leg 6 at Doncaster.”

The feature action of the day is at Cheltenham, where the Cleeve Hurdle (3:35pm) looks to be a cracking renewal of the prominent Stayers Hurdle trial. Paisley Park is an undeniable elephant in the room, but it would be little surprise to see If The Cap Fits and Summerville Boy make the 2019 Champion work for his corn.

Leg 3 of the Scoop6 pool is the Cotswold Chase at 2:25pm, where Santini can overcome this D-Day of sorts on route to a promising Gold Cup attempt in March. He was underwhelming at Sandown Park first time out, but better work can be expected from the 8yo on the back of a breathing operation. Bristol De Mai and Ladbrokes Trophy winner De Rasher Counter are probably the main dangers, though Mister Whittaker does rate as an interesting outsider in a tight six-runner field, which also includes Top Ville Ben and Slate House.

All of the races of Saturday’s Scoop6 will be shown live on ITV.

Good luck everyone. Remember to return to Scoop6.co.uk on Saturday for live updates as the Scoop6 runs.
