There were three winners of last Saturday’s Scoop6, winning £8,899 each. They will aim to take home the bonus fund this weekend.

It has been an incredible week of racing at Royal Ascot and the curtain falls for another year on Saturday, but not before another absolutely top notch card at the Berkshire venue. This week, our Scoop6 pool will leave out the Wokingham Handicap (4:10pm) and the 12:40pm consolation race from the main six-leg pool. This means two seven-horse races enter the six legs, with three places up for grabs in the place part of the Scoop6 pool. The Bonus race is the Wokingham Handicap itself at 4:10pm.

Tote spokesman Kevin O’Malley said: “We’re excluding the 23 and 24 runner handicaps to ensure customers get the best place terms possible for the Scoop6 pool at Royal Ascot on Saturday, including two seven-runner contests paying three places. This has the added benefit of making the Scoop6 a lot more achievable for punters this week.”

O’Malley added: “It has been an extraordinary week at Royal Ascot and the sport really shone on the global sports stage. Good luck to all playing the Scoop6 and our exciting Tote Superpools on Saturday.”

With Tote Superpools running at Royal Ascot, the place terms in every race will be modified. The finishing positions which will constitute a place are as follows:

  • Fields of 2-3 runners: 1st
  • Fields of 4-6 runners: 1st & 2nd
  • Fields of 7 or more runners regardless of whether the race is a handicap: 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

This applies to the following pools: Place, Placepot, Quadpot and Scoop6, and to Royal Ascot races only.

Good luck everyone. Remember to return to Scoop6.co.uk on Saturday for live updates as the Scoop6 runs.

O’Malley added: “Along with Newbury who cracked their doors open earlier in the week, it is brilliant to see Flat racing return at Sandown Park this afternoon.”

All six races will be shown live on ITV, making it great time to enjoy an afternoon of Scoop6 action.

Leg 4 - 2:40 Newcastle

There was no winner of the last Scoop6 that took place on March 21st . This is great news for you as the Win fund starts at £121,868 and the bonus fund at £24,395! Both these totals will grow rapidly as more stakes are placed.

This week’s Scoop6 pool is expected to swell to £170,000! Tote predict there will be around £140,000 in the win fund and £30,000 in the bonus fund.

The 3:35pm at Newmarket is the feature betting heat of the weekend and also Leg 6 in the Scoop6 pool, which also contains three supporting races at the track and two quality contests in Newcastle. It is also the Trifecta Rollover contest, which is one of the best kept secrets in racing when the bonus fund rolls. This week, the Trifecta Rollover is estimated at £40,000 for the 2000 Guineas.

Tote spokesman Kevin O’Malley said: “We’re thrilled to have UK racing back and the Scoop6 is a staple of the Saturday punter. This week’s re-starting pool is healthy and well worth a go for as little as £2, covering top notch action throughout the afternoon.”

O’Malley added: “Pinatubo is the star of the show. Provided Charlie Appleby’s colt has trained on physically, he could be 10% off on fitness and still win this on last season’s juvenile form. It never is that simple though and as usual, there are an array of horses with impressive profiles in opposition, along with tactics and track biases to consider.”

All six races will be shown live on ITV, making it great time to enjoy an afternoon of Scoop6 action.

Good luck everyone. Remember to return to Scoop6.co.uk on Saturday for live updates as the Scoop6 runs.

Gordon Elliott’s Fakiera looks the one to be on in the opener at 1:40pm. He’s bumped into a couple of good horses on his last two starts but this represents a good opportunity to get off the mark. The well-bred Politesse presents the main danger on her hurdles debut.

Later on, Jetz could follow up a fine second to a rejuvenated Charli Parcs by landing the 2:10pm hurdle race over 2m6f. The highly progressive Sizing Pottsie looks primed for a big run in the Grade 3 Novices’ Chase at 3:10pm. In the closing leg an hour later, Myth Buster is taken to leave a poor run behind him and win for Henry De Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore.

Tote spokesman Kevin O’Malley said: “We can only be thankful to Thurles and their staff for staging this brilliant card on Saturday. There’s plenty of competitive action to enjoy, a wealth of interesting prospects on show and an estimated £105,000 Scoop6 win fund to play for.”

Five of the six races that make up the Scoop6 will be shown live on ITV4 on Saturday.

Good luck everyone. Remember to return to Scoop6.co.uk on Saturday for live updates as the Scoop6 runs.

Leg 4 - 3:00 Uttoxeter
Leg 5 - 3:15 Kempton Park

(Please mention scoop6.co.uk if re-posting these details)

There were two winners of last Saturday’s Scoop6, winning £171,696 each! They will aim to take home the £432,524 bonus fund and need to find the winner of the 3:35 Midlands National at Uttoxeter.

If they fail any winners from this week will play for an even bigger bonus fund next Saturday.

The first leg is at Kempton in the Novices’ Handicap Hurdle at 2:05 pm, where 18 have been declared. Last year’s Aintree Bumper winner will be very fancied here, he will have had to sort out his jumping but taking on Eden Du Houx, who would have been second in a decent handicap hurdle at Ascot were it not for a mistake late on, can land the EBF Final.

Uttoxeter hosts Leg 2 at 2:25 pm, where Anthony Honeyball and Philip Hobbs enter the most fancied of the field in Midnight Tune and Musical Slave. Back at Kempton for Leg 3 (2:40 pm) for the Silver Plate where 20 will battle it out for top spot. Downtown Getaway and Who’s My Jockey are expected to lead home the field.

The 3:00 at Uttoxeter (Leg 4) is the Burton Union Handicap Hurdle. JP McManus teams up with Philip Hobbs and Dostal Phil, while Bryony Frost will take the ride on Neil King’s Nordano. Garde La Victoire, Topofthecotswolds and Delire D’Estruval line up in the 3:15 (Leg 5) Silver Bowl Handicap Chase with Nico De Boinville trying to make it two from two on Pistol Whipped.

The final leg is at Uttoxeter with the 3:35 Midlands National. Christmas In April has been teed up for the valuable £84,405 race, after some excellent form this season. He will, however, take on De Rasher Counter, the Ladbrokes Trophy winner. Good luck to the two Bonus hunters.

Leg 3 (2.10) and 5 (2.45) are also staged at Wolverhampton. At 2.10, look out for Treacherous completing his hat-trick if handling the Tapeta surface, while Hannon could be at the double if Urban Icon can score under Ryan Moore at 2.45.
